The Sinaloa delegation sought to encourage tour operators in this region to promote the Sinaloa destination
Mazatlán, Sin.- Tour operators and the Association of Hotels and Tourism Companies of Mazatlán, with the support of the Sinaloa Ministry of Tourism, promoted the port in San Luis Potosí and Aguascalientes, where they invited travel agents and tour operators to promote and sell trips to this tourist destination.
Through a “Shrimp feast” in which around 250 travel agents convened by the Naturleón company participated over the weekend, the Sinaloan delegation sought to encourage tour operators in this region to promote the Sinaloa destination.
The objective is to position Mazatlán -known internationally as the shrimp capital-, through gastronomy tasting of this crustacean, which was a success with tour operators who delighted in its exquisite flavor.
Through this effort, which gave good results, it is also intended to support and promote direct flights from Guadalajara and encourage demand to carry out the Bajío flight.
Among the programs that the Sinaloans carried out, was the presentation of the queens of the International Carnival of Mazatlán, with live band music.
These events are held on opportune dates to sell and promote the holiday seasons in advance.
In this activity, the Magical Towns and Majestic Towns were promoted, as a complementary tourist offer for the vacation packages.
The Naturléon company has a presence in the northwest of the country, La Laguna and Durango, and has grown in sales in vacation packages to Mazatlán, it is also the winner of the “Golden Deer”, awarded by the Association of Hotels and Tourist Companies of Mazatlán, for its high production and penetration in national markets.
