For the installation of 11 valves, the production of the vital liquid had to be reduced to only one thousand liters per second.
Mazatlan.- The production of drinking water at the Los Horcones water treatment plant has already recovered, after the work for the installation of a total of 10 12-inch valves and one 20-inch valve in the filter system was successfully completed.
Los Horcones is one of the two water treatment plants operated by the Municipal Drinking Water and Sewerage Board of Mazatlán, and thanks to the efforts of the municipal government before Ceapas and Conagua , it is in the process of deep rehabilitation and modernization.
The Operations Management of the para-municipal resumed the production of drinking water, which had to be reduced to only one thousand liters per second, starting early this Wednesday, to facilitate the performance of this important work.
It should be noted that the production of water will gradually rise between the afternoon and the night, until it reaches the 1,950 liters per second that it normally generates for the consumption of Mazatlan families.
