Lifeguards implement search operations because another person is missing.

Elements of the Mazatlan aquatic police rescued a tourist this Thursday afternoon who had difficulty getting out of the sea.

As reported in a press release, the events occurred in the Gaviotas 1 beach area, where a search protocol was implemented since another person was also reported missing.

After the help report, the lifeguard agents entered the sea and with the intervention of a motorized team (Jet Ski), since it is a danger zone, they managed to put on land a young man who was intoxicated.

Francisco “N”, 23 years old, originally from León, Guanajuato, only showed tiredness and stated that another person was with him.

The operation lasted until late at night, without the second bather being located, so the search will be resumed this Friday morning.

Recommendations

The municipal lifeguards recommend that bathers, both locals and tourists, follow all the recommendations made by them and respect the signs on the beaches.

Between Monday and Thursday, nine bathers have been saved who for various reasons had difficulty getting out of the sea in different areas of the port.
