Mazatlan lifeguards rescue two young tourists from drowning

They were dragged by a sea current; Lifeguards call to respect warning flags placed throughout the beach area.

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Elements of the Aquatic Squad of the Municipal Police of Mazatlán, rescued this Saturday, two minors from Irapuato, Guanajuato, on the beaches of the port.

The rescue was carried out on Del Mar Avenue, after the agents noticed that two people were being dragged by a sea current.

Leonardo Fabián “N”, 14 years old, and Diego Sebastián “N”, 15 years old, who did not require medical attention, since they only presented fatigue and fright.

The elements of the Aquatic Rescue Squad made a new call to respect the flags placed along the beach and the recommendations for the presence of sea currents and high waves.

In addition, they ask parents not to neglect minors when they are in the beach area.
