The showers will go from strong to moderate in the port of Sinaloa.

Mazatlan, Sinaloa . – After the heavy rains that have occurred since last Sunday in the port, the probability of more rainfall is still high for this Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hugo Nordahl Valdez, head of the local Observatory of the National Water Commission , said that the Mexican monsoon over the northwest of the country will continue to cause very heavy rains at intense points in the south of the state , so the population must remain on the lookout for recommendations issued by the authorities.

He commented that with the rains that occurred since Monday morning in Mazatlan , the fall of 52.1 millimeters of water was recorded in the city.

The meteorologist stressed that the precipitations that occur in the port as a result of the cloud bands generated by the low pressure channels that affect the Mexican Pacific , may be accompanied by electrical storms and some wind .

Nordahl Valdez indicated that in the case of tropical storm “Iveth”, it does not represent a danger to the Sinaloa coast as it is located southwest of Baja California Sur , with a trajectory to the open sea.

He added that, in terms of temperatures, they will continue to range between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius , with a wind chill of up to 36 and 38 degrees.
