In the Friends of Animals Civil Association you can adopt cats and dogs as pets; know the steps to do it.
MAZATLAN. – Are you looking to buy a pet? Don’t do it, better adopt a dog or cat, here we tell you where and how you can adopt a little animal so that it has a new family and you provide the necessary care.
The Friends of the Animals Civil Association, chaired by Julieta Alcocer Sánchez, commented that there are more than 120 cats and 48 dogs in the place, which are looking for a home, but to adopt them some important steps have to be followed.
He said that people who want to adopt an animal are interviewed, a form has to be filled out and an adoption follow-up is given, which has to be followed to the letter.
“You have to deliver two photos and a video per week to see how the animal is doing, check that it is in good health, fill out a form, a copy of the INE, proof of address and follow-up signature,” said Alcocer Sánchez.
He pointed out that a fee of 650 pesos per dog is delivered, and 450 pesos per cat, which are delivered minimally with a vaccine, dewormed and starred, whether female or male if it is less than 4 months, it is indicated on what date it is performed said procedure.
