Mazatlan convention tourism is reactivated with a congress of public accountants

The convention will take place from July 28 to 30 of this year inside the Hotel El Cid.

MAZATLAN. – Convention tourism is returning to Mazatlan, after two years of the pandemic.

This destination has become one of the favorites for holding events, since in addition to offering sun and beach activities, it also has cultural activities throughout the year.  

Proof of this is the inauguration of the LXIX National Convention of the Confederation of Associations of Accountants of the Mexican Republic AC An event that brought together various associations of public accountants in the country to train in new areas and stay updated.  

According to Miguel Eduardo Alemán García, president of the Confederation of Associations of Accountants of the Mexican Republic, an accountant must have skills and knowledge according to the new era so that he can take advantage of the new technological tools.  

He explained being updated improves their ability to make reports, obtain the necessary data for data analysis, identify and develop strategic management skills. 

“This convention is held twice a year and the intention is to unite the country’s associations to train them, our priority is to provide them with constant training so that they stay updated.”  

How many days does the convention last?

The convention will take place from July 28 to 30 of this year inside the Hotel El Cid. Conferences will be held there on the following topics: Strategic Tax Defense vs. Presumed Non-existent Operations; How to project a favorable pension Law 73 of the IMSS; Payroll supplement and salary adjustments; Consignment note and CFDI transfer and natural persons with income through technological platforms.  

What happened to the RESICO?  

The new Simplified Trust Regime (RESICO) that began to operate as of this year, in order to facilitate the payment of taxes and add more taxpayers, but according to the president of the National Confederation of Public Accountants, this new regime has not had very successful since at the beginning of the year the inclusion of 13 million new taxpayers was expected, but only 8 million were registered.  

“Opening this type of fiscal regime did not have the desired success, so we imagine that the government will try to find new strategies.”
