Everything ready for the start of the 2022 Opening at the ‘Kraken’

Armed security operation to receive around 9 thousand fans; at the end of the game, the direction of Munich avenue will be modified to give fluidity to the traffic.

MAZATLAN. – Professional football will return to the port of Mazatlán, starting this Friday when on day 1 of the 2022 Opening Tournament the gunboats receive Puebla; The municipal government is already preparing the special surveillance operation that will be implemented in the Kraken stadium, through the Ministry of Public Security, Transit, Civil Protection, Protocols and the Mayor’s Office.  

During this Thursday, the first logistics and coordination meeting was held for the start of Liga MX in Mazatlan, to which the coordinator of Municipal Civil Protection, Eloy Ruiz Gastélum, said that the actions both inside and outside, will remain as in other games, in which they will call on the attendees to comply with the protocols

Ruiz Gastélum informed that for this commitment an attendance between 8,500 and 9,000 attendees is expected at the Kraken stadium; The doors of the building will open two hours before the game, that is, at 6:00 p.m., since the first game of the 2022 Opening is at 8:00 p.m.  

“It is important that all the fans who come tomorrow and attend the great event continue to collaborate with the corresponding sanitary measures; We already know what they are: the use of face masks from the moment you arrive at the stadium and when you stay inside it, it will be fundamental and important, and above all the general recommendations that we already know, ”he stressed.  

The official added that this is how the personnel will be distributed during the operation: Secretary of Public Security, 170 agents on surveillance; Civil Protection, with 35 elements; Mayor’s Office, with its surveillance device for trade both inside and outside and, finally, the Road agents.
