Mazatlan, Sinaloa. – This Friday, the staff of the Directorate of Public Services removed 53 tons with 190 kilos of garbage, weeds, and debris in the channel that runs the section of Jacarandas Avenue and Arroyo Hondo, during the campaign “In the rainy season, that the water flows” that the Municipal Government maintains active, to avoid risks of flooding in the city.

David Ibarra Olmeda, head of the directorate, said that this work was carried out with several crews from different departments of the unit that concentrated 74 workers and the assignment of a tractor, a backhoe, 4 simple dump trucks and two double units that took out mostly garbage; plastics, weeds and rubble.

He announced that next Friday, June 24, they have scheduled a cleaning day in the canal that runs along Las Torres Avenue, from Rafael Buelna to the Lucio Blanco road, starting at 7 in the morning.
