Another rescue from the sea in Mazatlan; lifeguards save three minors from Michoacán

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.-In the Sábalo 2 beach area of ​​Mazatlán, elements of the Municipal Police Aquatic Rescue Squad managed to rescue and save three people who were dragged by a current on Tuesday.

As reported in a press release, with the support of lifeguards from the hotel located in the area, they were able to buoyancy them and tow them to dry land, who they said were tourists from Zamora, Michoacán.

Sofía Regina N”, Yahir Alejandro “N”, and Ana Sofía “N”, aged 15, 17, and 11, respectively, only showed fatigue and were handed over to their relatives.

So far this year, the Aquatic Rescue Squad has rescued 75 bathers from drowning in the sea.

In the month of May, 20 bathers were rescued, while so far in June there have already been six rescues.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Lifeguards from the Aquatic Squad recommend swimmers to approach them if they are not aware of the areas to which they are going to enter, so that they can guide them and tell them which areas are the least risky.

Among the recommendations are not to enter with pants or drunk, not with a float when there is a lot of air and if you do not know how to swim, do not go too far into the sea.

Remember that the meaning of the colors of the flags is as follows: red means “high risk” (do not enter), yellow means “enter with caution”, green: “safe beach” and white, “presence of jellyfish” .
