The authorities announced that the different activities in the port of Topolobampo will encourage the attraction of tourists.
Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- In order to continue promoting tourism in the port of Topolobampo, the authorities announced the minors of what will be the “Topolobampo Fest 2022”, it will be 4 days of intense artistic, cultural, sports activities, civic in the framework of the Day of the Navy of Mexico.
At a press conference, the Secretary of Economy of the City Council of Ahome, Bernardo Xavier Cárdenas Soto, mentioned that the activities begin on June 1 at 8:30 in the morning with the delivery of the program for painting houses in the port by the President Gerardo Vargas Landeros, which gives color to this place and the activities culminate on Sunday, May 5.
The authority specified that there is a bag of more than 750 thousand pesos, which will be delivered to the winners of the different tournaments and activities, from cooking, fishing and tourism.
“Well, to tell you that tomorrow, at 8:30, President Gerardo Vargas is going to deliver colored Topolobampo, I think, well, all of us who are here have already experienced colored Topolobampo, we have seen the change and transformation of our port, a beautiful port, but now it is a beautiful and colorful port, a happy port”, he expressed.
To date, 25 boats have been registered, but he only clarified that 15 of them have already met the requirements, it is estimated that 30 boats will compete in the fishing tournament.
For the weekend the boardwalk will become a gastronomic corridor; on Saturday the barbecue contest will be held; on Sunday, the paella contest; and with these activities, it is estimated to have an important economic benefit during these days.
