Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Francisco Martínez Escamilla, President of NASCO Mexico (North American Strategy for Competitiveness), highlighted that Mazatlán has the potential to stand out at the national level thanks to the construction of an Aerospace Industrial Park of international stature.

Within the framework of the presentation of the projects that will be taking place in the Aerospace Industrial Park, he argued that whoever “is not turning Mazatlan right now is going to be left behind”, Martínez Escamilla stated that Mazatlán has all the conditions to stand out nationwide due to its road, air and sea logistics.

Referring to the forthcoming opening of the Mazatlán Aerospace Industrial Park, the president of Codesin in the southern zone, Alfredo Ruelas Solís, acknowledged that for there to be economic growth there must be investors since the generation of this development is creating this type of infrastructure.

After a meeting where several businessmen presented their development and investment issues for this new project in the port, in which the mayor, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, Ruelas Solís was present, he maintained that what was exposed made a total click with the vision of Cosdesín, insisting that for there to be economic growth, there must be investors.

“Generating this economic growth is also simultaneously generating this type of infrastructure, as I have mentioned many times. It is necessary to generate public infrastructure and generate private infrastructure and this is the sum to develop the regions”, he analyzed.

Ruelas Solís, said he was satisfied with what he heard from the businessmen at the same time that he reiterated his support since it is what the council seeks, that the investments land and that the federal, state or municipal governments contribute with the generation of infrastructure public.

The state official stated that, with the opening of the Aerospace Park, Mazatlan would catch up with other large cities such as Guadalajara, because Codesin has always been preparing itself with industrialization strategies.

“We are prepared with industrialization strategies, human capital, having enough talent to respond to the needs demanded by the industry and these policies that we have made in the state government will bear fruit. It is a work of many years and now we are going to see the result of the effort and the usefulness that we have been making in Codesin”, he pointed out.
