MAZATLAN.- El Verde, Concordia, will celebrate 150 years of tradition and parties and therefore, “throw the house out the window” with a musical celebration and activities for the whole family.
The artistic director of the Organizing Committee of the Traditional Festivals of El Verde, José María Gómez, explained that the multi-day event will feature artists from the Mexican regional genre.
“We will have a top-level artistic cast backed by the company Zeus Music, on May 8th we will have Banda La Alternativa and Comando 51 on stage; On May 9, Kiko Avalos and Tony Aguirre will perform, while the closing will be in charge of the singer Max Peraza and Christian Ayala, “he assured.
Maximiliana “Chiquis” Osuna, pointed out that one of the reasons is also the commemoration of the Battle of Puebla, informing that there will be a parade made by students from the schools of the community, in addition, that on May 9 there will be a tribute for Taco Day to a family from this town.
“We will pay a well-deserved tribute to a Taquería with more than 53 years of tradition to the family that owns the Taquería “El Güero de Las Quintas” especially to Josefa Ramírez who is also an altruistic person and that she and her deceased husband Don José Óscar Lizárraga are pioneers of the tacos of our town that are already known throughout Mexico and the United States as the best”, he concluded.
Another of the activities that will take place from May 8 to 10 will be a jaripeo with bulls, from Rancho “La Placita”, who usually carry out these activities at town festivities.
