Mazatlan lighthouse expects over 1,000 visitors per day

The patronage of the Lighthouse has all the recommendations ready to provide the best service to all visitors.

MAZATLAN.- During the Easter period, one of the main attractions of the port of Mazatlan is undoubtedly the Lighthouse, which year after year is very crowded during these dates by tourists who come to the destination. 

The coordinator of Municipal Civil Protection, Eloy Ruiz Gastélum, commented that the Mazatlán Lighthouse Board regulates access and informs visitors about all preventive and sanitary measures before going up. 

He indicated that the Board will have the support of the State Health Secretariat and, possibly, it can be reinforced with municipal personnel, to provide the best possible care.  

“The schedules that will be handled during these dates will be from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and depending on the weather that is being recorded on those days, the decision of an intermediate break would be made, but that depends on the weather issues. ”, highlighted Ruiz Gastelum. 

The PC coordinator reported that the presence of between 1,200 and 1,500 visitors is estimated at the Mazatlan Lighthouse during this vacation period, which begins today, Friday, but officially starts on Sunday.  

How to get to Faro Mazatlan Natural Park

The Lighthouse Mazatlan Natural Park is located in the extreme south of the city. Located on Isla del Crestón, which was joined by Cap Street. Joel Montes Camarena in the 40s.

It can be easily reached by any means of land transport. By bus, taxi, Auriga, Pulmonia, Uber, DiDi, or bicycle.

The Mazatlán Lighthouse is the tallest natural lighthouse in the world, it has a glass bridge-viewpoint and it is located on the top of the Crestón hill.
