Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- From February 9 to 12 in the Ciudades Hermanas park, the first World Pacific Circus Festival will be held, which consists of intensive seminars and workshops with different circus disciplines such as juggling, aerial dance, balances, clown and hoop rolls, to name a few.
There will be the presence of great legends of Mexican juggling, as well as international artists; there will be a gala show, open stages, battles, a parade, and more.
“This project is done with the intention of promoting circus art in the port, by virtue of inspiring local and foreign artists to become professional and therefore, to value and dignify it as a formal, noble, and fruitful work,” said Karen Sandoval, member of the organizing committee.
One of the goals of this first edition, MazaCircus Verde 2022, is to generate the least amount of garbage, for this, they will have some alternatives such as:

“We are a free society and at the same time responsible for the integral well-being and with this we refer to the human being, to our environment that includes animals and plants, natural resources, the planet Earth. We are aware of the innate connection that we have with the Mother Earth, therefore one of our main purposes is to carry out MazaCircus with the least possible negative impact, on the contrary, to make proposals that support contributing with positive results”, he added.
In addition, the work being carried out by port artists and non-profits and NGO associations of the protection of the beauty, health, and vitality of the port will be disseminated.
