Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The tourist boom that Mazatlán has due to its renewed image of the boardwalk, historic center, golden zone, and important avenues such as Rafael Buelna has allowed restaurant entrepreneurs to be interested in this destination to invest, declared Rodrigo Becerra Rodríguez.
The leader of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry explained that, as of December 31, 2021, the port registered the opening of 35 full-service restaurants, that is, with service to eat on the premises, waiters, and an Extensive menu of products, not necessarily fast food.
“Mazatlán is going through a very good time, right now it is on everyone’s lips at the national level and because Mazatlán is entering a time of bonanza that we must make the most of it in these coming years, they are closing more or less like around thirty or thirty and five full-service restaurants that have opened in Mazatlán ”.
This, despite the conditions of the pandemic and its third wave in the middle of the holiday period, which gave a delay to the sector that had a good recovery rate, which is expected to increase by 2022, taking advantage of the fact that Mazatlán is in the mouth of everybody.
He indicated that restaurant brands in cities such as Guadalajara, Jalisco, and Mexico City were established with well-defined concepts and that they come to set the bar high for the Mazatlecos, who must be up to them.
