MAZATLÁN.- The construction of the Roosevelt collector, on Emilio Barragán y Alemán avenues, is already in its final stage, as was announced by the Secretary of Public Works of the state, Osbaldo López Ángulo.
He explained that the work lasted a few months on hold because it was impossible to work within the Integral Port Administration, API, so the initial project had to be modified.
“Here we go, we are working very hard, we had some details, especially with the logistics of the port with the cargo; after so much length we only have 45 meters left ”, he commented.
He stressed that this work is and will be one of the most important actions that the current state government has carried out, as it promises to end the severe flood problems suffered by the inhabitants of the Historic Center during the rainy season.
“It is a very important work in which the Historic Center will be solved,” he added.
López Ángulo said that the work is 90 percent complete; and although it was originally planned to be delivered before the Quirino Ordaz Coppel administration ended, this will no longer be possible.
It revealed that the estimated time for completion and delivery is within 6 weeks.
Data
The work had an investment of 69.4 million pesos, which correspond to federal and state resources; It was built in an area of 3,225 linear meters.
