Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – Mazatlán begins this Wednesday with a red balance when the accidental death of a young cyclist occurred this morning at the intersection of Carretera Internacional and Libramiento 2, in the El Venadillo neighborhood, in front of a well-known shopping center.
It is a young-looking man who was apparently heading to work towards a yard near the scene of the accident.
Witnesses to the events reported that, apparently, the driver of a personnel transport bus did not notice the presence of the unfortunate person and when crossing the street from south to north, the fatal event occurred, dying almost instantly.
People who passed through the place quickly notified the 911 emergency number, however, when the aid and rescue bodies arrived, they could do nothing for the man.
Personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office arrived at the scene to attest to the facts, while the funeral home on duty took charge of lifting the body.
Municipal Traffic Agents controlled vehicular traffic through that area, given that it is a very busy area, especially during peak hours.
