Mazatlan transit police ask you to report any act of corruption

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- For any act of corruption, the sub director of Transit Municipal called on citizens to file the complaint before the Committee on Internal Affairs, to act accordingly.

The deputy director of Transit, Jorge Samuel Alvarado, assured that of the time he has been in charge of the corporation, he has not had any reports from colleagues on this issue.

According to the National Survey of Victimization and Perception of Public Security (ENVIPE) 2021, by INEGI, corporations, both public security and Sinaloa Transit, have the last place in citizen credibility and the first place in complaints of corruption.

“We are working, all the people are working according to the law, adhering to the law, and in what I have, there has been nothing in this regard” he said.

Commander Alvarado Illustrious said that they are very close with the people, and proof of this is the awareness programs towards society, especially in the use of helmets by motorcyclists.

“We are close to the people so that they know that they can trust us, likewise in the crossings are the companions and there they are invited to cross in the pedestrian zones,” he said.

The deputy director of Traffic stated that they are working to regain public trust, and there is already more acceptance from the people that they are doing things well.

He called on the public to renounce any act of corruption of any transit element to the Department of Internal Affairs and if they are proven, they will be punished according to the law.
