Sinaloa.- Governor-elect Rubén Rocha Moya confirmed that Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo is already considered to be the Secretary of Public Security because the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, asked him to do so.

He explained that he will be the only official of the Quirino Ordaz Coppel administration who will continue in the position.

Cristóbal Castañeda was appointed Secretary of Public Security in December 2018 and for 23 uninterrupted years, he served in the Secretariat of National Defense.

The military man who has exhibited him in his blunders, abusing, corrupt, has been the deputy and president of the Security Commission of the state Congress, Mario González “el capi”.

In 2019, during the appearance of the Secretary of Public Security in the State Congress, in a harsh environment, the deputy Mario Rafael González, better known as the “capi”, accused him of being a loan shark and of spending large amounts on food in restaurants.

As well as unjustified dismissals and abuses against state elements by the military commanders when accusing them that they made loans with ten percent of interest to the policemen through the Secretariat of Security.

Even days later, he filed a formal complaint with the State Government’s Secretariat for Transparency and Accountability so that the actions of the Secretary of Public Security could be investigated.

Likewise, the PT deputy said that there are observations from the ASE for irregularities in the spending of 8 million 600 thousand pesos.

The PT deputy has not lost the opportunity that every time he can in the rostrum he questions the performance of the one who will be the only Quirino Ordaz Coppel official to repeat in the new administration that begins on November 1.
