From September 20 to October 3, Sinaloa will pass the epidemiological green traffic light

Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The Secretary of Health, Efrén Encinas Torres, reported that in Sinaloa 86% of the population over 18 years of age has been vaccinated against Covid-19 and around 70 percent have the complete scheme.

He indicated that the vaccination scheme has worked to lower the epidemiological trend in the state, coupled with health protocols and people’s self-care.

This is why, from September 20 to October 3, Sinaloa will pass the epidemiological green traffic light.

” This allows precisely these good results, but we cannot lower our guard, it generates greater commitment to all of us to continue taking care of ourselves and, I reiterate once again, regardless of the color of the traffic light that we are still green, we must take care of ourselves with the utmost care ”, He highlighted.

Through a statement, Encinas Torres explained that the preliminary estimate of epidemiological risk is evaluated by the federation according to the results that each federal entity throws in the indicators, such as the number of infections, hospital occupancy, and mortality from Covid-19, among others.

” Color is not necessarily the guide of our behaviors, we must take care of them as if we were in red, the pandemic continues, but we will move forward, we will not lower our guard and we will achieve it, ” he stressed.
