Neighbors of the Casa Redonda neighborhood closed the road that is being rehabilitated since they are using an alternative road to divert traffic, which was about to cause a tragedy

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- On Wednesday afternoon Gabriel Leyva Avenue became a real vehicle junction, after being blocked by residents of the Casa Redonda neighborhood, who do not want the street where they live to be used as a diversion.

The anger of the residents is derived from the fact that a minor road in their neighborhood was enabled as a traffic diversion, due to the work being carried out on the Gabriel Leyva, which has greatly increased circulation and stolen the tranquility of those who live there.

This situation was even on the verge of causing a tragedy since a few months ago pulmonia hit a minor who was trying to cross the street. Fortunately, the girl only got scared and some scrapes after the public transport service vehicle hit her at low speed.

The blockage of the street strangled circulation on Gabriel Leyva avenue, which is the main avenue in that sector, and disrupted the exit and entry of freight vehicles to and from the Alfredo V. Bonfil industrial park .
