This property is part of the 22 prizes offered by the National Lottery draw for Mexico’s Independence Day
Mexico.- As part of the 22 prizes in kind that are contemplated in the 248 Great Special Draw of the National Lottery for next September 15, which correspond to real estate and right of use, a house owned by Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.
The aforementioned property located in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa, is located in the Libertad neighborhood, which has two bedrooms, living room, dining room, garage, front garden and is located 7 minutes from Culiacán 87 park.
The total value of the property is 3 million 640 thousand pesos, since it has 395 m2 and 261 m2 of construction.
As reported the previous month by the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, this special draw of the National Lottery, for the first time includes prizes in kind that correspond to 21 real estates and a right of use, the main prize being a box in the Azteca Stadium, which has a validity of rights until the year 2065 and which has a value of 20 million pesos.
Other prizes that will be raffled are an apartment in the Golden Zone of Acapulco, in the state of Guerrero; a house in Pedregal de San Ángel in the country’s capital; a ranch in Xochitepec, Morelos; a piece of land in Ensenada, Baja California, with ocean views, among others.
In total, eight houses, seven apartments, five lots, a ranch, and the box at the Azteca Stadium will be raffled.
When detailing the properties for the draw, the deputy director-general of Marketing and Services of the National Lottery, said that two million pieces will be put up for sale, each with a value of 250 pesos.
The amounts obtained from the sale of the raffle will be to support the athletes who participated in Tokyo 2020.
In this regard, the President also highlighted the performance of the Paralympic athletes, where Mexico finished in 20th place in the medal table, the product of 22 medals: seven gold, two silver, and 13 bronze.
