Quirino Ordaz Coppel confessed that he sees Rubén Rocha Moya as an official who will be a good governor, due to his experience and maturity
Culiacán, Sinaloa.- In the fifth report of Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, public works was one of the most outstanding achievements, however, in terms of security, it was limited to the construction of the Sauz complex and the change in the stigma of insecurity that was had in the state, without touching the forced disappearances and femicides, one of the problems that are on the rise.
It was through social networks where the state president carried out the rendering of accounts in the closing of his administration, in a different modality from the previous one, with the presence of journalists Jesús Villegas and Maraly Franco, who in coordination with a group of citizens raised a series of questions.
Accompanied by his wife, Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz, he began his fifth report, sharing that, in an administration of four years and 10 months, his main task was to work faster and take precision shots.
“Knowing where and how to present projects to precisely draw resources, bring more investment, more work to Sinaloa and I focused on that and it is how we can see that after almost five years, four years, 10 months, we have brought an investment above the 24 billion pesos, we do not indebted to the state ”, he highlighted.
Public works and security
In security, Ordaz Coppel, stressed that Sinaloa was one of the five entities with the highest crime incidence and to achieve change, there was a process and teamwork and a lot of citizen participation.
With the Sauz complex, there are more than three thousand elements of the National Guard that can travel to the communities of the capital of Sinaloa.
“We invested a lot in the intelligence system, which is video surveillance and above all also something important in patrols, we received very few patrols, around 40, today we have about 500 patrols, it gives you mobility, movement capacity and tools to have capacity of response ”, he mentioned.
Attention to the pandemic
In terms of health, he stressed that with the health contingency due to Covid-19, work was done on equipping hospitals for patient care, and the call center was created. In addition, the construction of the General Hospital of Culiacán and Mazatlán was managed; the Pediatric Hospital and the Health Center.
The governor specified that, in public works, work was done in the 18 municipalities in each of the needs they had, especially in paving and hydraulic works. In addition to the rehabilitation of roads such as the exit to Imala in Culiacán and the creation of the Badiraguato-Parral and San Ignacio-Tayoltita highway.
On the educational system and in the context of the pandemic, he said, schools adapted to online classes. The school uniforms and supplies program was implemented; autonomy was given to the Autonomous University of the West; The Autonomous University of Sinaloa was supported in financial matters and it was invested so that there would no longer be cardboard and sheet schools.
Economic development
In relation to the state economy, he indicated that a more competitive state was developed in private and foreign investment, as there was greater certainty. In the case of Mazatlán, the tourist flea market paid for the alliance of new projects.
Other actions that he shared were carried out in his administration are, the disappearance of tenure, digital government procedures, the creation of the Ministry of Fisheries and the Ministry of Sustainable Development.
The state president recognized the creation of two municipalities, Juan José Ríos and Eldorado. I reiterate that people were no longer charged for paving the streets and the public transport system was improved.
Finally, in the government transition process, Ordaz Coppel reported that there has been a lot of openness and good communication since the objective is for Sinaloa to do well and with Rubén Rocha Moya, he considers that he will be a good Governor due to his experience, maturity, and simplicity.
“The time comes and I am confident that Sinaloa will continue with that growth path because nothing stops Sinaloa, ” he concluded.
