Hoteliers are betting that there are good numbers like the one registered during 2019, said the president of the Association of Tourism Companies in Mazatlán

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Even though there is still time for the arrival of winter tourism to Mazatlán, the fact that Sinaloa is currently in yellow within the epidemiological traffic light of COVID-19, and that the numbers of active infections decrease, helps a lot to get foreign airlines to return to this destination, said Carlos Berdegué Sacristán.

The president of the Association of Tourism Companies in Mazatlán, said that they work because soon and it is in this next period of the end of the year, the charters return to this route, after the COVID-19 pandemic affected all sectors, for which there is the confidence that there will be the same number of passengers as registered in 2019, although it did not specify how much they would be.

“A great effort has been made to get American and Canadian charters, foreign airlines, so it must come strong, nothing more than not yet, the fact that we are in yellow helps a lot, it is a whole process, it takes time, we are still on time, but it looks good, we are going to have the same airplane seats that we had in 2019 in the United States and Canada ”.

The hotel businessman trusted that there will be a good response for the destination, especially because all have joined forces and are working to maintain sanitary controls in the accommodation centers, as the same authority, adding the actions and issuing a message that Mazatlán is a destination safe tourist in the middle of this pandemic.
