Los Mochis, Sin.- Staff Civil Protection of Ahome, suspended a game of softball and closed a stadium located in the fractionation Las Mananitas, overnight on Wednesday.
The sports venue is located at the intersection of Independencia and Las Mañanitas streets, where the staff of this agency arrived in compliance with an anonymous complaint and after verifying that health protocols were not being complied with, they ordered the players to stop play and leave the stadium.
Once the sports field was vacated, municipal officials placed closure stamps at the entrance, which generated discontent among athletes and people who come to witness the games.
It should be noted that sporting events have continued to take place in that stadium for weeks despite the restrictions imposed by the authorities in the midst of the third wave of COVID-19 infections.
