Sinaloa.- This week the federal Ministry of Health will announce that Sinaloa leaves the red traffic light of COVID-19 and will go to orange, announced Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel.

In an interview in the First Direct Line Issue, the state president pointed out that last weekend he spoke by phone with the Undersecretary of Prevention and Health Promotion, Hugo López-Gatell, and they agreed that Sinaloa has been reducing its incidence of new infections.

“It’s 3 weeks with a downward trend in new cases and hospitalizations. In fact, I spoke with López-Gatell and he told me that Sinaloa is doing well and this is the result of vaccination, the key is the vaccine, “he mentioned.

Ordaz Coppel recalled that 400,000 more vaccines arrived last week, a sign of the great support that has been received from the Federal Government, and assured that more doses will arrive very soon to apply the second doses to the sector over 18 years of age.

The state president reiterated the call for all people who have not done so to be vaccinated because that is one of the best defenses we have against the coronavirus.
