Mazatlán, Sinaloa.– The National Chamber of the Restaurant Industry and Spiced Foods of Mazatlán, ruled in favor of requesting the Vaccination Certificate against Covid19 when entering an establishment and its members are already requesting it, gave meet its leader, Rodrigo Becerra Rodríguez.

“We all agreed with the authorities that we were going to support the effort and we are all asking for it. We believe that it is a measure that will help because we need the entire population to be vaccinated and one hundred percent of restaurants affiliated with Canirac are already asking for the vaccination certificate, ”he said.

The restaurant entrepreneur calculated that this measure implemented by the municipal government as of this Monday will encourage more population to be vaccinated and is what is needed, so the more people are immunized, the sooner the spread of the virus.

The Chamber leader assured that, due to this third wave of infections, sales have dropped considerably by up to 50 percent and this has greatly affected restaurateurs

“We have been five weeks where sales have collapsed, they are at 50 percent and it is affecting the sector a lot,” he acknowledged.

Becerra Rodríguez said that they want Covid cases to go down so that the sector and commerce can be reactivated.
