Sinaloa.- This morning, 276 thousand Sinovac vaccines arrived in Sinaloa, which will be applied starting this Monday, for the population between 18 and 29 years old, reported the Secretary of State Health, Efren Encinas Torres.

The state official explained that they will be distributed in municipalities where there are more cases of COVID-19; being Culiacán, Ahome, Mazatlan, Navolato, and Escuinapa.


“They are the first doses of a vaccine that is effective, it is Sinovac. It is very important, young people and society in general, that they are pending and go to be vaccinated in the different vaccination points of macro centers. The effort has been made with great enthusiasm for all of you, ”he said. 

The doses were received by personnel from the Ministry of Welfare, the Mexican Institute of Social Security, the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, and ISSSTE.

Encinas Torres, reported that the vaccination centers in Culiacán will be at the facilities of the Ninth Military Zone, Juan S. Millán Park (Revolution), Constitution Civic Center, Figlostase event center, and the María del Rosario Espinoza auditorium.
