General Hospital of Mazatlan seeks donations to support staff

Until yesterday they had 150 thousand pesos and they seek to reach 300 thousand pesos. With what they want to contribute with basic supplies for the staff.

Mazatlan Sinaloa.- The president of the Board of Trustees of the General Hospital of Mazatlán, Esperanza Kazuga, reported that donations are sought to support the staff of the Health Sector.

Although they will not be able to cover the needs 100 percent, they want to contribute with basic supplies, and above all, in items such as face masks, gowns, gloves, syringes, and alcohol. For this, they have a goal of 300 thousand pesos. 

He highlighted that they have had a good response from the volunteers. Kazuga commented that everything will be handled in the interbank account.

So that citizens have confidence that their money is applied in the aforementioned, he assured that they will report on all the expenses that are developed.

“The hospital has surpassed its capacity, but right now this pandemic has exceeded the patients. The number of Covid beds is 62 and there are more than 77 people, “he said. 

The board of trustees intends to build a shelter next to the hospital for families with Covid-19 patients to protect themselves. Although it is not yet a fact, they will look for the project to be carried out.
