Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The Director of Inspection and Regulations, Gabriel Gavica Sáenz, officially announced the beginning of the dry law that will be implemented throughout Sinaloa, this by law on the occasion of the electoral day of next June 6.

According to Gavica Sáenz, from 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 6 to 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 7, the sale of alcoholic beverages will be suspended, however, the only places where The consumption of intoxicating beverages will be allowed in the event rooms and restaurants.

As regards restaurants, the sale of alcoholic beverages must be accompanied by food intake, in addition to allowing their distribution according to what is indicated in the alcohol license. On the other hand, in the case of party halls, the distribution of alcohol will be allowed as long as they are not for sale.

If a violation of the Dry Law is reported, the licenses of the establishments that incur the offense will be canceled, in addition to having to pay a fine to the municipal authorities.
