Visitors will arrive by bus charter, by air; and they are from the United States and Canada
Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – The Secretary of Economy, Tourism, and Fisheries of Mazatlán, Luis Terán Tirado, trusted that for the month of October or November foreign tourism will begin to arrive, especially by land on so-called charter trips and by air.
“We have pure national tourism to date, but it is clear to us that from October or November foreign tourism will begin to arrive; People by charter, by airplanes, will arrive from October and they are from the United States and Canada ”, he confessed.
Terán Tirado added that it is visitors from both countries who generally leave more economic income than nationals because they spend more than double that of compatriots.
“It leaves a little more spill than the national one because these people normally go out to dinner two, three times a week and leave a little more spill than the national one,” he insisted.
The local official added that weekends will continue with very good occupancy because there are very good reservations until July, so it is expected that this will continue to benefit the tourist destination.
“Right now on weekends it is handling 65 to 70 percent and they are from Durango, Monterrey, Guadalajara, the cities that have always supported us with tourism to the municipality,” he endorsed.
