Culiacán, Sinaloa (February 1, 2021).- Around 11:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, a major car accident occurred on José Diego Valadez Boulevard, also known as Malecón Nuevo, in which a truck was overturned.
Rescuers arrived at the scene and provided medical attention.
The information collected at the site indicated that the driver of a Gray Jeep Cherokee SUV was driving from west to east along the aforementioned boulevard and upon reaching the return that is located in front of a well-known sushi restaurant, he hit a Nissan Tiida where two young women were traveling and then rolled over, ending up with the 4 tires facing upward.
Passing motorists immediately called the emergency numbers.
Red Cross rescuers arrived and treated the SUV driver, who resulted with minor injuries and was taken to the General Hospital to rule out internal blows, while the two women were treated at the site and only suffered a nervous breakdown due to the shocking accident.
Highway police officers took charge of the situation and momentarily closed the circulation to carry out the corresponding proceedings, investigations, and determine responsibilities.
