1872

The pandemic has stopped many things in the world, but something that cannot stop is waves and surfing, which, like other sports, has adapted to the current situation and has turned to platforms in lines.

From November 19 to 29, the Pacific E-Pro of the Surf Open League will be held in Mexico, which is the fifth stage of the Surf Web Series online surfing world circuit, where surfers will try to qualify for the world championship of His sport.

This style of competition was created by the Surf Open League in May of this year in Mexico, in which Jafet Ramos, a surfer from Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, became the first champion.

BUT HOW DOES AN ONLINE SURFING COMPETITION WORK?

The surfers participating in the Pacifico E-Pro will send their best-recorded videos from any beach in Mexico, with which they will compete through @SurfWebSeries digital platforms.

To choose the best surfer, a panel of judges together with the participation of users in social networks will vote for the participant who will advance to the next stage, making this the first surf league where fans influence the result.

About 64 surfers participate in this competition, who during the duration of the event will compete to win the Pacific E-Pro championship.

The finalists will be revealed on November 28 through the Cerveza Pacífico Instagram account, where fans will be able to vote for the best surfer, and on the 29th, the event will conclude with a live broadcast from the @SurfOpenLeague YouTube channel, where we will meet the winner.

HOW TO VOTE?

All you have to do is follow @SurfWebSeries on Instagram and in the videos of each round tag the best surfer of each stage.

WHO ARE THE PARTICIPATING SURFERS?
