The Governor of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz, admitted that there was already an agreement between the Mazatlan City Council and the Venados Baseball Club
The governor of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, said in the morning broadcast on Wednesday, July 8 on Línea Directa, that a good agreement had already been reached for the Caribbean Series Mazatlán 2021.
The state president admitted that there was already a good agreement between the Mazatlán City Council and the Venados club, for the realization of the important event of the king sport.
“By the way, yesterday (Tuesday, July 7), a good agreement was reached for the Caribbean Series in Mazatlán, between the Mazatlán City Council and the club (Venados), so I understand that the agreement has already been signed, it was sent or it will be sent ”
In the morning, the mayor (Quimico Benítez) says they were moving forward said Luis Alberto Díaz
“… they were doing it, they were fixing it,” replied the state executive.
It should be recalled that the Mazatlán City Council withdrew the concession of the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium from the company Espectáculos Costa del Pacífico on April 6, 2020, which seriously put the plaza and the Venados de Mazatlán club as headquarters and hosts of the Caribbean classic.
However, the talks between the Mexican Pacific League chaired by Omar Canizales and the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation commanded by Juan Puello, have been maintained regarding the hope that the Mazatlán City Council and the Venados club can ‘fix their differences’ .
The municipal administration headed by Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres has stated that neither the Mexican Pacific League nor the Caribbean Series would be affected by the litigation that is taking place.
The Caribbean Mazatlán 2021 Series is scheduled to start on January 31 and end on February 6.
