Mazatlan.- Jellyfish reaches sandy strips of the beaches of the Golden Zone of the port, reported the Aquatic Salvage Squadron (ESA) of the Municipal Police.
The ESA commander, Gonzalo Magallanes Romero, reported that with the change in temperature that occurs in the sea, from June to August, this marine species is being washed by currents towards the sand on the beaches.
From an early hour, the “jellyfish” could be observed in large numbers throughout the coastal strip of the port.
Magallanes Romero recalled that due to the closure of beaches to the public, there were no bathers who were injured by the presence of these organisms.
