The leader of Águilas del Pacífico indicated that prevention and hygiene measures are already in place for the safety of users

Mazatlán, Sinaloa .- Public transport in Mazatlán will continue normally tomorrow, declared the leader of Autotransporter Águilas del Pacífico, Juan Zartarin Velarde, who denied these rumors on social networks about an alleged unemployment work, and said that prevention measures are already being taken to provide safe service.

“I want to make clear the rumors that are on social networks that urban transport is supposed to stop tomorrow, that is not true, we are not at that stage and we do not want it to come, everything will be normal tomorrow and the day after tomorrow ”, he assured.

He indicated that the Department of Roads and Transportation has already issued health recommendations issued by the Ministry of Health, in order to make users feel calm.

“We were instructed by the Roads and Transportation and the Ministry of Health so that we constantly disinfect the busses and also handrails where people grab to get on, and we already started a program during the day, to disinfecting busses every 2 laps”, detailed.

Zartarin Velarde said that there are currently 150 operators distributed on the Chulavista, Prados del Sol, Real Pacífico, Infonavit Playas, Gran Plaza, Hogar del Pescador, Sunset and Nuevo Milenio routes, who argued that the passage has decreased due to the events of Covid-19 and the suspension of classes, so he reiterated that the operators will take all appropriate measures.

“We are looking for gel, you see that it is scarce, and we want all trucks to load gel and give it to our users and that the operator is disinfecting their hands, and possibly masks will be arriving for our operators to bring a mask for safety of users, “he said.
