Hotels report 100% occupancy from December 28 to January 2

As planned, this Thursday began to rebound in Mazatlan hotels, for the weekend there will be a full and will remain so until January 2.

From very early on, dozens of national tourists could be observed outside the hotels, on the Malecon, getting off buses and walking through the main attractions of the city.

The president of the Tres Islas Hotels Association, José Ramón Manguart Sánchez, said that accommodation establishments on Del Mar Avenue registered occupancy levels of 80%, and by Friday they will be 100%.

The flow of visitors to the destination has already begun, Mazatlan has been characterized by this positive inertia, despite several negative factors, and that has allowed an annual double-digit growth

Manguart Sánchez commented that also due to this growth that the port has had in hotel occupancy, during the last five consecutive years.

For his part, the counselor of the Association of Hotels and Tourism Companies, José Gámez Valle, confirmed that Mazatlan will be full for the weekend.

By Friday the occupations will be at their best, similar to Holy Week, without fewer people but with the same number of rooms occupied

José Gámez Valle said that the final stretch of the year will be good for the hotel and restaurant sector, since the families that stay normally make use of the consumption centers, which generates better expectations of being able to exceed 2018.
