Culiacán.- Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, inaugurated in the company of his wife, Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz, the traditional Sinaloa Livestock Fair now in its 45th edition, in which framework, the state president announced that the Sinaloa cattle ranch will enter the Livestock Program of the Government of the Republic to obtain support that this important sector had not had.
The state president arrived at the facilities of the Regional Livestock Union of Sinaloa, where he was received by its president, Manuel Urquijo Beltrán, and hundreds of livestock producers, to inaugurate this traditional exhibition, the most important in the northwest of the country.
“I want to inform you that yesterday I met with the Undersecretary of Livestock, David Monreal, because President López Obrador on his last tour -by Sinaloa- offered us to join the Livestock Program of the Federal Government, that is good news because he is going to Enter Sinaloa with supports that we have not had so far, call credits to the word or other types of programs, but the important thing is that we are already on that route to get more resources for a sector that deserves it as it is that of the Sinaloa cattle ranch ” , advancement.
Within the framework of this inauguration, Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel and the president of the UGRS, Manuel Urquijo Beltrán, presented the Medal of Merit of Livestock, to the municipal president of San Ignacio, Iván Ernesto Báez Martínez.
For its part, the livestock leader thanked the state leader for the support given to the sector, because during this government the livestock has experienced a very significant development, driven by the Genetic Improvement Program, which Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel has endorsed since the Start of your management.
He stressed that this fair is the opportunity to show the progress made in cattle, goats, and pigs, which has made it possible to place the Sinaloa cattle ranks among the best four in the country.
“Thank you very much, Mr. Governor, for joining us in this great party and we thank you for your support in health, infrastructure, wells, boards, pathology laboratories, perennial seeds and annual crops, Mazatlan TIF trail, and many others,” he said.
Urquijo Beltrán informed that in this 45th edition 720 head of cattle, 200 sheep and 480 goats will be exhibited, and during the fair there will be competitions of pure race, dancing horses and charrería, in addition to the various artistic shows in Palenque and Teatro del Pueblo over the next 18 days.
For her part, Mrs. Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz said that the traditional Livestock Fair is always highly anticipated by Culiacan families because it is a space for fun and entertainment.
The president of the DIF System also thanked the Regional Livestock Union of Sinaloa for the donation given to children with cancer who received their treatment at the Pediatric Hospital, as were two checks for 260 thousand pesos, each.
“Thank you for the trust and tell you that in the DIF we are working with total transparency, with great desire and a lot of heart so that these resources reach the most vulnerable families, the children who need it,” he concluded.
Rosy Fuentes receives donation from Sinaloa farmers
As part of the inauguration of the traditional Livestock Fair, the president of DIF Sinaloa, Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz in the company of the Governor of the State, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, received a generous donation from the Regional Livestock Union of Sinaloa (UGRS) and of the Association of Breeders of Pure Breeds Culiacán.
With great emotion the sinaloenses farmers, directed by Manuel Urquijo Beltrán, delivered this valuable support, which this time was for the amount of $ 460 thousand pesos; It will be aimed at strengthening impact programs in the most vulnerable sectors that are aimed at girls, boys, young people and the elderly.
Rosy Fuentes said: “We are going to send these resources with total transparency and justice to vulnerable groups that we serve in our different centers and through our programs.”
He thanked his solidarity, he said, with this donation the Dinal Sinaloa System will continue to improve lives.
On the other hand, Fuentes de Ordaz described as admirable that the fair, which represents a Sinaloan symbol such as livestock, has become a tradition not only of business but of family life and lots of fun.
Manuel Urquijo explained that the donation was derived from an auction organized by breeders of pure breeds, and aims to add to noble causes: “we are honored to deliver this donation that I clarify is corresponding to the previous year, count on a similar amount for this 2019 ”.
This donation represents a lot for the Sinaloa DIF System, since it adds to the actions that have been carried out since the beginning of the administration.
