The State Government will seek dialogue with the National Congress when requesting a good budget for tourism for the following year

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Tourism is the economic activity of the future not only of Sinaloa but also of Mexico and that is reflected in the numbers, said Óscar Pérez Barros, secretary of tourism in the state, when asked how they will request a budget from the Federation for tourism in Sinaloa.

So he said that we are already working hand in hand with the State Congress and are looking to go to dialogue in the National Congress with statistics of results in hand, to verify the benefit that tourism gives to many sectors of the economy.

“That is what they have to do, we carry numbers of how much growth we have had in Sinaloa, how many families have benefited because it is incredible, it reaches every corner of the economy, every corner of society arrives positively, we have that convince them, they have to realize, and the most beautiful of all is that we bring results. ”

Pérez Barros exemplified the municipality of Surutato, which, despite being a magical town, did not maintain a tourist movement years ago and today, families are building cabins, restaurants, and places of interest for visitors.

He added that currently 3 thousand 100 people have been trained throughout Sinaloa, to improve attention to tourists, after thanking them for the support and treatment they give visitors to return to the different destinations.

The interview was conducted at an event held at the Polytechnic University of Sinaloa, within the framework of its fifteenth anniversary, where a conference was held by the secretary where he spoke of “Sinaloa and Tourism” to young university students.
