MAZATLAN.- Because of the rupture of water main, the colonies of northern Mazatlan will suffer today shortage of water, announced this morning the Municipal Board of Drinking Water and Sewerage of Mazatlan.
“For reasons of the rupture of a 36-inch asbestos tube in the immediate vicinity of Cereso (Mazatlan prison), the colonies in the northern area will be affected in their entirety in the supply of drinking water,” the warning details.
“We report that the colonies that supply the 5,000 lt tank will also be affected,” he adds.
The Jumapam ensures that they are already working on the repair of the tube.
The Board urges people to take care of the water they have in their homes, or store.
The colonies that will be affected in the water service are: Flores Magón, Ejidal, Universo, Genaro Estrada, Villa Tutuli, Prarada Dorada, San Joaquín, Villa Verde, La Foresta, San Fernando, Loma Bonita, Los Magueyes, Higueras del Conchi , Valle Bonito, Las Mañanitas, La Campiña, Jaripillo, El Conchi, San Jorge, Alarcón, Valleys of the Ejido, Nuevo Milenio, Carlos Salinas, Colosio Yes, San Francisco, San Marcos, El Venadillo, Hogar del Pescador, Valle Dorado, Boars , Prado Bonito, Jesús Osuna, Los Mangos, Rincon de las Plazas, Prados del Sol, Real Pacífico, Real de Valle and the whole area of Cerritos.
