Mazatlan: Civil Protection recommends avoiding low avenues due to rain.

Due to the heavy rains recorded in Mazatlan during the early hours of Wednesday, August 14, 2019: the Municipal Civil Protection Coordination recommends that citizens do not drive on roads where the water level may represent a risk for vehicle occupants, so some Points have been closed preventively.

It is not advisable to leave home while heavy rainfall continues.

Municipal authorities, Civil Protection, and Public Security remain in permanent surveillance operation to help those who require it and will issue the relevant information as the situation normalizes.

This day, tropical wave No. 28 will travel over southern Mexico, while a low-pressure channel will extend over the interior of the national territory, associated with the entry of moisture from the Pacific Ocean, so the following rain potential accompanied by electric shocks, wind gusts and possible

Precipitation forecast for today August 14, 2019: Intervals of showers with heavy point rains (25 to 50 liters per square meter): Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango, Sinaloa, Nayarit.

The rain zones will be accompanied by electric shocks, blown wind, hail and possible landslides on the slopes of mountainous areas.
