A sandstorm was recorded in the afternoon, around 3:00 p.m., caused by high winds, on the MX15 road on the Empalme-Ciudad Obregón stretch, so the Civil Protection authorities called for extreme precautions in the absence of visibility. 

However, the sandstorm on the road to the Empalme-Obregón highway caused a vehicle accident due to lack of visibility.
