MAZATLÁN.- With gratitude and thanks for the gesture of collaboration to the nesting program of the sea turtle that counts with the Mazatlan Aquarium, the paramunicipal received the donation of 201 coolers from the Oxxo commercial chain, this Friday.
Pablo Rojas Zepeda, director of the Mazatlan Aquarium, said that these rows are optimal for the size and shape, in addition to concentrating the temperature for a greater success of the life of the species.
The incubation room uses 400 to 600 coolers annually (for the lifetime) to keep eggs of this marine species in optimal condition.
Mauricio Rodríguez Sarabia, Human Resources coordinator of this commercial store, said that the purpose of this gesture is to help preserve a species, and add to the issue of environment and conservation.
The incubation room will soon go through an expansion and renovation process to create better conditions and expand the number of eggs to hatch.
