Guadalajara, Jal. – In Jalisco a storm accompanied by hail hit Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque left at least 15 colonies affected by floods and ice blocks.
At some points the hail exceeded one meter in height. Some houses were damaged and several cars were stranded.
Some roads were closed due to the accumulation of ice.
According to local media, in the Atlas, Álamo Industrial, San Carlos, and Rancho Blanco colonies the accumulation of hail had a height of up to one and a half meters.

In view of the effects, the municipal government recommended safeguarding important documents, avoiding all contact with electric power cables, keeping warm and having the numbers of the emergency services on hand.
Through social networks viral images of the blocks of ice left by this natural phenomenon were made.
Elements of Civil Protection and the Heroic Fire Department work on the cleaning of streets that were affected by heavy rain.
Authorities do not report injured people.
