Mazatlan, Sinaloa.-  In a month the new General Hospital in Mazatlan could be inaugurated, and the person in charge of cutting the bar would be nothing more and nothing less than the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, as informed by the governor of Sinaloa , Quirino Ordaz Coppel.

“Right now we are in the installation of all the equipment but it is practically ready for him to take a walk. Yes, I invited the President to come and start it, “he said.

The Governor stressed that the hospital could be considered a pilot program in the homologation of services, that is, attention and service would be given to those who have IMSS, ISSSTE and even the military.

“We are even thinking that this hospital is a pilot model at the national level, seeking the universalization of services from different institutions that are there within the hospital, such as IMSS, ISSSTE, Sedena, we are seeing,” he said.

The investment for the hospital grew, since in total there would be about 1,400 million pesos invested, when in the first instance it was thought to invest 1 billion closed pesos.

“In total they are 1 thousand 400 million pesos; It grew a lot, and if they see it has a great parking capacity, it will come to solve a big social problem, not only in Mazatlan, but in southern Sinaloa, “he said.

“It will be with the plant (worker) that you have. What we want to avoid is that there are higher costs, that employees have an excellent quality service, as the population deserves, “he answered.

Regarding the General Hospital and the Pediatric Hospital, both in Culiacán, Ordaz Coppel stressed that both have advanced work.
