Mazatlan, Sinaloa .- Mazatlan recorded a hotel occupancy of 100% during the holy days, however, this Sunday will begin to decrease the number of rooms occupied, to rebound again from Wednesday.

The president of the Association of Hotels Three Islands, José Ramón Manguart Sánchez, said that although reservations have been a bit slow for this Easter week, could reach an occupation of 90%.

We hope that people respond and lift the occupations, in one way or another, the issue of whether or not there was Moto Week, affected in the reservations.

Manguart Sanchez commented that on Sunday they are pure departures, Monday few arrivals, on Tuesday also and the major occupancy is from Wednesday onwards.

He explained that the bulk of the tourists who arrived during the Easter week to Mazatlan, are from Durango, Chihuahua, Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Bajío and Mexico City.

“Sunday is a natural day of departure, few arrivals

He noted that the exodus of visitors for the week starts on Sunday afternoon, however the number of occupied rooms is reactivated again on Thursday with the event of motorcyclists.

During the Semana Santa a large number of vacationers arrived on board bus and charter trucks, which brought thousands of people from different parts of the country, to enjoy this sun and beach destination and enjoy the delights of Mazatlan gastronomy .

On Sunday the number of occupied rooms decreased with the exodus of vacationers, so the bus station looked full of vacationers who were looking for a ticket to return to their place of origin, so they had to increase some exits in the runs.
