MAZATLÁN._ The fourth section of the carnival column of the first Mazatlan Carnival parade 2019 was a party, diverse and inclusive, from start to finish.

In addition to being led by the very band El Recodo of Don Cruz Lizárraga, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary and played non-stop for more than three hours, the Sinaloa-lesbian-gay-bisexual-transsexual community had a notable presence.

The LGBT community of Sinaloa occupied two majestic allegorical cars, designed by the art director Ocean Rodríguez.

“Spring marine”, the car number 27, is inspired by the most colorful time of the year, wears thousands of flowers and was crowned with a great blue whale; It was adorned with the presence of the queens and ambassadors, winners of gay and transsexual beauty contests held in the entity during the last year.

The car 30, entitled “Free Crows”, was very suitable for its occupants: more than half a dozen elegant Drag-Queens, who like the inspiration of the float, seek to live free of enclosures and enjoy who they really are.

As in the past, the joy of sexual diversity was part of the festivities of King Momo, only now with greater dignity and total acceptance.
