February 8, 2019.Issue: 06: 00h Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, official source of the Government of Mexico, issues the following notice: DROP IN THE TEMPERATURE IN A LARGE PART OF THE COUNTRY AND AN INTENSE NORTH EVENT IN THE COAST OF THE GULF OF MEXICO, EFFECTS PRODUCED BY THE COLD FRONT NO. 35

For today, the cold front No. 35 will move over the east of the country, generating strong storms to very strong punctual which will be accompanied by electrical activity and possible hail in states of the northeast, east and southeast of Mexico, the polar air mass that drives it, will cause a drop in temperature in much of the national territory, expected the fall of sleet mountainous areas of Coahuila and Chihuahua, also recorded an  event of “ intense ” North with gusts exceeding 80 km / h on coasts of Tamaulipas and Veracruz, reaching 90 km / h in the Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec, expecting gusts of wind superior to 50 km / h in states of the table of the north.Precipitation forecast for today February 8, 2019: 

Strong storms to very strong (50 to 75 mm):  Puebla, Veracruz and Oaxaca. 

Intervals of showers with strong point storms (25 to 50 mm):  Tamaulipas, Hidalgo and Chiapas. 

Intervals of showers (5.1 to 25 mm) : Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Queretaro and Tabasco. 

Isolated rains (0.1 to 5.0):  Coahuila, Chihuahua, Zacatecas, Guanajuato, State of Mexico, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo.
