Sinaloa Governor announces next meeting to define port dredging

Without announcing a date, the Governor of the State informed that a meeting will be held with people from Port to make known what types of projects are going to be promoted, including dredging in the port area. 


Quirino Ordaz Coppel, interviewed after the first stone of what will be the new Mazatlan Mar de Cortes Aquarium was placed, said that the projects that were announced in the visit of Andrés Manuel López Obrador to Sinaloa are being followed up.


“We are following up on the efforts we made, such as the Picachos Dam and Santa María Dam, yesterday we were with the director of Banobras to see the issue of Metrobús in Culiacán, and the additional management that is being done for all what is the hydraulic infrastructure, since we are interested in the drainage works and channel dressing due to the effects we had in the rains, “he said. 


In the case of dredging the port, he added that it was a topic that was discussed, what will be done is to take a definition. 
“I already talked to the President and we were precisely in having a meeting with the people of the port to see what the definition that is going to be promoted will be done,” he said.
